HARNESSING YOUR GOD GIVEN POTENTIAL

Every creature of God is divinely endowed.

Your profiting in life is tied to a discovery of your potential and active participation in making it speak.

1Co 12:7 “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal”.

2Ti 1:6 “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands”.

Mat 25:15 “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey”.

DEFINITION – What is Potential?

Your divine endowment.

Your latent strength / ability.

Your passion / inclination.

Your uniqueness.

These heavenly resources are hidden in you until they are discovered, developed, activated and put to use.

When you harness your potential you are given meaning purpose and direction to life.

You are lost in the unemployment market because you would not activate your potential.

You prolong your suffering when you fail to discover potential.

HOW TO HARNESS (EMPLOY) POTENTIAL INTO ACTION.

1. Engage in consistence Prayer in your Understanding and in the Spirit.

Jer 33:3  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Jud 1:20  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Eze 2:1  And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

Eze 2:2  And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

In prayer, you ventilate your spirit, launch into deep discuss with God and evolve your God given abilities.

2. Engage in Continuous Learning - Learners are leaders, continuous leaner are great leaders.

  - Learning schools your potential into strength

John 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Pro 24:5  A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

1Ti 4:13  Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

1Ti 4:14  Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

1Ti 4:15  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

-     The profit inherent in your potential is revealed through the learning process.

3. STUDY / MEDITATION

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1Ti 4:15  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

-    The study of Scriptures acquaints you with the character of your potential that enhances its profitability.

-         Meditation is the digestion system of the elements of your potential.

-         Your action is a picture of your meditation.

1Co 15:33  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Pro 13:20  He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
